Jumping between links over the internet will sometimes get you unexpectedly stuck to something.
I've just found out that there is a live action movie for "the Grave of the Fireflies".

I remember I watched the animation version some years ago and it was so good that will truly move you and will leave you for sure with some affection tears in the eyes.
But things are way different in this live action movie,, at some scenes I just started to officially weep!! (;_;)
The characters closely resemble their Anime counter parts and the little girl is just great at doing her role and they talk with the nice accent of KANSAI in the movie.

So I succeeded in getting you curious over this ;)
The thing in the picture is some kind of sweets that is called ANMAN, which is also the way you say AMMAN in Japanese. (Here is the what-I-think-is funny part in case you didn't notice!).

ANMAN is some kind of bread/cake filled with red bean paste (ANKO).
The 'AN' part came from the above word ANKO(餡) .ANKO is used in a lot of types of Japanese sweets.
This ANMAN is eaten hot and I enjoyed eating it on my way home in that cold evening.
*Update 2:
And according to T senpai, -MAN' means MANJUU（饅頭）
(Rikai chan : 饅頭 : Steamed yeast Bun with filling)

While you are enjoying Eid, I was doing my research progress presentation(T^T)
Well it's better than staying home and sleep until late time, which is what I used to do most of the times in Eid.
I kind of dislike the 3ajga of visits, kids and sheeps! =p

崖の上のポニョ

And this is Hayao Miyazaki's newest movie. 崖の上のポニョ "Ponyo on the cliff".
It was first announced around the period of my entrance exams. Glad they became a memory!:)
I would love to see this movie sometime~!
The great thing about it is that no CG is involved. An Anime that was mainly done the traditional way. See the interview below.

Disney's new movie.
Meet Wall-e~! An extremely lonely robot.

I am not a big fan of Disney but this time, this cute robot is involved!
I have been seeing eye-catching posters for it everyday in Shibuya. It is scheduled to be shown for the first time here December 5th.
By the way the Japanese commercial and the posters I saw are more touching.
Sometimes they would show you a picture like the one below with a line that's saying "Why nobody is here?","Why am I so lonely?".... well it wont give the same effect unless you see these lines in Japanese! lol

I think that the story is very nice.

Yesterday I went on an all alone adventure to Mt. Takao.
I have been carefully watching the 紅葉前線 since the start of this month. And yesterday was a perfect sunny day with the perfect timing to view momiji on Mt. Takao according to this page.

Climbing the mountain was a little bit hard but a refreshing experience. I felt that I'm a stronger person after reaching the top.
There were a lot of trails to reach the top each with different features. I chose one randomly and started my way up.

The autumn colors were amazing, and the AMAZING 100% clear view of Mt. Fuji was the reward of reaching the top!

On the way down, I went from a different trail. It was really wonderful with a river flowing all the way down..BUT VERY DANGEROUS!..in some places one wrong step and bye bye~ enjoy a free fall..seriously.

..Another thing, in this trip I discovered a very nice side of Japanese people tht you rarely see in the busy daily life.
On your way up or down, most people that you encounter will greet you with a nice warm "konnichi wa"! It felt really nice.
I believe this "konnichi wa" holds alot inside.
"You and me are sharing the joy of watching this beatiful nature and are doing our best to reach the top, we are the same in this, so regardless where you came from, konnichi wa!:)"
This is how it meant to me.
