I wonder why they call it like that!?
do you know why?

Why is it called Bluetooth™?
The Viking king Harald Bluetooth united Norway and Denmark. He was renowned as a great communicator, skilled at bringing people together to talk to each other – but he would never have guessed that a thousand years later a powerful technology would be named after him!

me too, I always wondered about this funny name , I must search inside my phone maybe I will found a real one ( considering the number of phones having "blueteeth" , I wonder from where they came out with that huge number of teeth to put it inside phones )

there is another word keep bothering me .. thumbnail ! you can find it in windows ( not real windows .. I mean in computers )

note : I just founded another strange word ... "windows" for operating systems .
can you open the windows, no.. I mean the real windows; I still feel it is summer :) .

hiro san,
"aoi ha" is some kind of not-so-funny joke on the bluetooth wireless technology (笑)。アラビア語で、「センアズラク」です。but ofcourse this one is also a joke :p bluetooth is said bluetooth regardless of the language :D

Hasna san, u got ur Q answered :) thank S-chan.

bme2003, yea in computer world, the namings are amazing..and strange sometimes.
arigatou gozaimasu:)

ammar san,
arigatou gozaimsu :)
but we say "nihongo"..when we want to say "japanese language" we add the"go" to nihon and not nippon..so its NIHONgo!
