Sayounara J.U.S.T. (T_T)

Long time no post. I have been lazy to post anything lately, even though ALOT OF THINGS that are worth posting happened.

J.U.S.T.
My university was designed by a very very famous Japanese Architect; Kenzo Tange
He has a lot of world-wide recognized works

Starting with the fresh news :

I had my last lecture ever at JUST this Tuesday.
Yesterday (Wednesday 9th of January) was the last official day for lectures/lessons and it was the day for graduation seminars . Some of my friends had seminars yesterday, so we -the senpai s who already did their seminars last semester - attended for support! Actually it reminded me of our seminar day in MAY 2007.
So now the final exams period has started..and this time they will be my last final exams as a JUST student. I only have two; on the 16th and 17th of this month.

University looks sooo empty at the last day
This was our favorite hangout place- C square
寂しそう~!

Computer Engineering Class of 2003 poster and the graduation cards
(These card are placed for graduating students each year so friends/professors/teachers can write their wishes of luck and success for students )

I never thought the day when i will have my own card will come!
ふふふ!「Engineer」と書いてある!

Now everyone has time to go out and have fun after seminars are over! ^_^
Yesterday in ViaVia cafe - Irbid mall

Congratulations for finishing the Graduation Projects everyone!
There will be another big go-out party after the finals! \(^o^)/

And now, for the older news :

I am very thankful for Y. san, T. sensei and O. sensei for attending our J.U.S.T. Japanese language class last Thursday, 3rd of January.
That was my last nihongo lecture. I am glad that students has learned alot.
Actually I didn't think that we will go that far in nihongo when i first though to open the class.

A view of the class with our guests
Thanks Dr. Abu 3ein for attending too :)

gakusei VS sensei !
Center workshop announcements in the background and our class announcement is there

Pictures with students who participated in the skits

Done by our great MANGAKA Ru2a san.

So it's over! Actually this semester was very fast, I wasn't particularly busy at any time other than exam times.
This was a VERY special semester-especially the last part of it.
Now some people can say that they studied nihongo in IRBID during a whole semester! (^o^)y

Congrats Everyone!
卒業おめでとう !! (^_^)y

Dreams do come true - 1

Hey everyone! here comes the first set of pictures of Japan. Those pictures are from the first 5 days. Enjoy!

Going into the plane from paris to narita airport tokyo.
The real beginning of the adventure! So much excitement at this moment.XD

The start of a new day from above the clouds on the way to tokyo.

Arriving to narita airport. Seeing Japanese signs everywhere brought tears to the eyes!
(I was still not believing im finally there and was waiting for myself to wake up to find that it was another Japan dream! lool ..but luckily it was real this time^o^)

On the way to ANA intercontinental hotel that is located in Roppongi.
I guess this pond is part of the imperial palace...for me it looks like a sea of green tea!(^▽^)Ocha no ahamado san, at this point i remembered you! lol

The Jordanian me posing like Japanese ^^
This was in the international youth conference.
During this event, i spoke Japanese like i never did before.
And it felt good hearing "nihongo jouzu desu ne!" like 1000 times!..but it was very troublesome to keep saying "iie iie mada mada desu ne!" lool
In this event we put on our national custom,,although the dress code was formal. We were told by ex-participants that we wont need formal clothes, only the leader needs to bring it,so no body brought it ..but it was required in many occasions! Thank God Japanese consider the national dress as formal!
And for you who are going next year : BRING YOUR FORMAL CLOTHES!!

Seeing the sun for the first time in Tokyo..maybe that was after 4 or 5 days! The weather was humid and rainy most of the time, yet still hot...tsuyu desu.

The Discussion Session Environment course members. The institutional visit. This was the first activity of the busy discussion session days. Taken infront of the MIRAIKAN.

Inside the miraikan. There was an Asimo show, please notice it in the background because the background is more important here!:D ..actually we were not supposed to stop an watch it since its not part of the environment demonstrations..BUT all of us forgot all about the environment demos and came to the asimo corner! lol after all being with asimo face to face is a rare chance that i couldn't miss!! XD Unfortunately i only have this stand-still picture of asimo..other than that i only took videos of asimo in action.

Rainy night adventures in Tokyo streets. Most days we were busy in activities,,so we had free time during dinner time only in those days, so these pictures were from the Jordaninan delegation dinner hunting adventures lol
Upper row : Dania san, Afkar san,Ahmad san,Leader san and Samer san.
Lower row: Khalid san, Samar san and me san :p
2 people are not present

During one of the 2 free days. Finally my first encounter with Akiba!!!\(^▽^)/
Akiba discovery subgroup
Starring : My boots, wasabi kun boots and ahmad san boots :D

Akiba. L in his original land! waah i always remembered death note each time we enter metro stations!!

To be continued

ただいま!!::K-chan is back! Report 1: The Seminar

4th year is finally over! yo minasan! tadaima!! \(^o^)/
Today was my last final exam. For those who are interested, the subject was Image processing. I did good but not perfect.
lets start from oldest 2 newest news :

-Our graduation seminar was good from our side (our=we the group)! We called ourselves "Team roboTECH". i guess its a nice name! n here is our logo (designed by me, all rights reserved! :p )

i just checked the marks, it was an A. But i was disappointed by the way the seminar was held. I mean, its sad how a student works for a whole year for his graduation project to ,at last, give him only 20 minutes to present everything!! that's totally unfair. Im sure the commitee did not understand 70% of the efforts done. One professor of the comitte was totally mean. X(

I believe the mark was not fair too. If i knew the seminar would have been so, i would have been less stressed about it.(and probably wouldn't have killed myself working for it! ) (O_o)
I believe our university is great. Im proud to be a J.U.S.T. student. Yet i believe some things must be changed! I hope to contribute this change one day!

Any way here are some pictures regarding the graduation project :

Our robot. We used a toy car to build an intelligent robot that can explore areas and come out with a map for the area.It can avoid obstacles.
Don't want to go through more details cuz i know they will be boring to read!

Team roboTECH happy after the seminar with robot san. I'm to the left!

More news to come soon in the next post, i dont want to make this post longer than this! (^_^;)

「戦争の子」の勝ちだ! ( ^_')b

All contestants were great! i like the way how japanese language evolve in jordan from year to year! and im glad i was included in this evolution!
Last year, i was just an attendant for the 9th contest,,it was the first time i hear that such contests exist in jordan..(mattaku irubiddo wa... ^^; ) ..i watched all the contestants n i was really happy and motivated to the limits!!..thats why i decided to participate n do my best to win next year.
and i am today, participated, had fun, met friends, met new friends and won.
Im so glad that i fulfilled the goal i sat infront of my eyes last year. It's a dream coming true, im finally going to Japan next July (if things went as i was told! lol )
